Danie Marais was born in Pretoria, South Africa in 1978 and grew up mostly in Namibia.  He studied art at the Central University of Technology in Bloemfontein and now resides in the West Coast near Cape Town. Danie is a full-time artist and his work is on display at several galleries throughout South Africa and Namibia. He has had several group as well as solo exhibitions.
